GRAPHICS & CONTROLS
A grieving mother named Elara lost her daughter, Lily, to a fever in the winter of 1892. Consumed by grief, she found an old grimoire hidden in the cabin's walls and performed a forbidden ritual to bring Lily back. The girl returned—but her eyes were black, her voice was a whisper of static, and she spoke in tongues.
Elara knew she had summoned something demonic. She tried to trap it in the bedroom, but the demon broke free. It wore Lily's face as it killed Elara with the very knife she used in the ritual. Now, the demon-child wanders the cabin forever, calling out "Mother?" in the dark, waiting for the next lost soul to answer.
You are a hunter of places with dark histories. The exorcists do not come blind — first they must be certain. That is what you do: you enter the house, you look, and you prove.
Photograph every haunting and pin the evidence to the board. When all eight proofs hang there, the truth will be known — haunted, or not — and the exorcist will come.
Winter, 1892 — Elara's ritual woke something in the walls.
